Yesterday was SO crazy that rather than writing out a blog post for today, I had to settle for a beautiful video of me this morning. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seem this in my Instastory. There is some SUPER exciting things happening in the next few weeks that I just had to share with you as quickly as possible.
Okay, so it could be pregnancy. It could also be that I am just pretty bad at making decorating decisions in my own home. For clients and friends, it’s much easier for me. But this baby’s nursery is giving me gray hair. Well, more gray hair.

One of my favorite styles lately is this “California casual” style I’ve been seeing all over the place. Emily Henderson has been posting a lot about how to get this effortless look in your homes on her blog. It’s fresh, bright and put together, but very comfortable and inviting at the same time. I had the opportunity a few weeks ago to not just use this style in a room, but actually go to California to create it. My cousin Ronnie, who is actually closer to my dad’s age, has been talking with me for awhile about helping him out with his house in Davis, California.
